What's in it
Four things. Nothing you can't pronounce.
Tea, cane sugar, a live culture and fruit. The sugar is for the culture, not for you: it eats most of it on the way to the bottle.

Whole-leaf tea
Brewed in filtered water, properly, before anything else happens.

A live culture
Kept and fed. It turns the sweet tea sour and never gets pasteurised out.

Whole seasonal fruit
Into the fermented tea, never as syrup, concentrate or flavouring.

Why WHAT FOR?
What stays true in every batch.
- 01Fermented tea
Every flavour starts as the same live brew. The base never changes.
- 02Real seasonal fruit
Two flavours at a time, sold while the fruit is good.
- 03No artificial colours
The fruit does the colouring. What you see is what went in.
- 04No added preservatives
The fridge does the preserving. It's alive, so it stays cold.

Natural variation
The season stays in the bottle.
Every WHAT FOR? begins with fermented tea and fruit chosen by the season. The colour, aroma and character of a batch come from its ingredients and its fermentation, and nothing else.

Questions people actually ask
Go on, then.
What does “living” actually mean?
Nothing was heated to kill it. The tea, the culture and the fruit went in, fermented, and got bottled as they were.
Is it sweet?
Tart first. Cane sugar goes in for the culture, and the culture eats most of it. What's left is the fruit.
Do I really need to refrigerate it?
Yes. It's never been pasteurised, so the culture that fermented it is still in the bottle, and it keeps working. The fridge slows it down; a warm shelf doesn't.
